JOB TITLE: Service Department Support

DEPARTMENT: Service

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for assisting the service team with a variety of jobs as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

Lot Organization

Storage location organization

Delivering and picking up boats to lakeside & storage facilities.

Clean & cover boats

Building maintenance & cleaning – both inside and out.

Show set ups

Trailer & general product assembly

Unloading trucks

Help with winterization

Attend technical and personal development training as required

Driving forklift

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Valid driver’s license

o Clean driving record

Basic mechanical skills required

Be able to read and interpret written instructions.

Be able to use small hand tools – wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.

Attention to detail

Basic math skills, including measurement

Multi-tasking

 Driving – Be able to back up a vehicle with a trailer attached.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:

Continually required to stand, walk, sit, and bend.

May be required to access small enclosed areas.

Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.

Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
