Job Summary:

Demonstrate construction skills, specifically those that pertain to shingle roofs including leak discovery, flashing details, the ability to replace vents and other accessories, and an understanding of insulation/ventilation and their affects.

Experience in other areas of exterior building maintenance including but not limited to: Siding, Gutters, Windows/Doors, & Decks.

Ability to plan ahead and problem solve.

Willingness to work with others & pass along your skills to other team members.

Understand the requirements of each individual project and be able to perform within allotted time and material budgets.

Assessing project scopes and making recommendations to management and/or sales team.

The ability to identify and correct deficiencies while never settling for just “good enough”.

Demonstrate skills in safe operation of all types of tools.

Ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to all safety standards and requirements.

Driving company vehicle to each job site with necessary tools and materials for each job.

Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.

Qualification Requirements:

Previous construction trades experience. Experience in framing or carpentry is an asset.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in order to operate a company vehicle.

Proficient operating skills of all basic tools and equipment used in construction.

Physical stamina to maintain a productive 8-hour workday that will include walking, standing and crouching for long periods of time to perform strenuous physical tasks. Ability to lift weight up to 100lbs.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and responsibilities associated with it.

Self-driven and team player.

Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear verbal and written information.

Possess good organizational and time management skills.

Reliable and consistently punctual with an eye for detail.

Proactive, hands-on, roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done attitude.

Contributor to a positive and results oriented team environment with the desire to learn and grow.

Provide personal toolbelt and basic essential hand tools. Hammer, tape measure etc.

Full time, year-round employment.

We work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday. There will be occasional weekends and overtime during our busier periods.

Dental and IRA benefits available after 90 days.
