To address this world problem, IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) is an industry focused on reusing, repurposing, recycling, repairing, and disposing of unwanted IT equipment, and at Knowledge Computers/Global Ewaste Solutions, we are looking to hire people who want to make a difference in the world!
We have an immediate part-time position open as a Production Technician for quality control and inventory management.
The primary responsibilities of the Production Technician (Receiving/Sort) are:
- Verifying Erasure on IT assets and grading equipment
- Cleaning laptops for they can be graded
- Recording IT assets into ERP system and inventory software
Tracking issues with test process
Other responsibilities may include:
- Inventory (cycle counts, parts harvest, etc.)
- Packing and shipping
Basic data entry skills are required.
Candidates must have willingness to learn and be able to navigate basic industry software after in-house training.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
General knowledge of electronics and networking equipment is encouraged.
Technology experience is ideal.
Forklift experience is ideal.
Hours are flexible within reason. No weekends.
Hiring is contingent on a successful background check and drug screen to comply with e-Stewards and NAID AAA standards for data security.
