We are seeking 1-2 experienced Irrigation Technicians, to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems on residential and commercial properties. Your expertise in irrigation systems, will ensure that our customers lawns, gardens, and landscape receive proper irrigation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
>Ability to perform all irrigation maintenance and repair tasks including:
>Start ups, monthly inspections, routine maintenance, and winterizations
>Repair or replace faulty valves
>Install, set up, and program all types of controllers
>Replace, adjust, and correctly nozzle heads
>Locate, repair, or replace broke or leaking mainline, lateral lines, swing pipe, and fittings, whether it be poly, PVC,
copper, or galvanized.
>Ensure customer irrigation systems are maintained to allow maximum efficiency and conserve water
>Works autonomously demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
>Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
>Year round work available with snow removal in winter months
QUALIFICATIONS
>Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role
>Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
>Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in irrigation work
>Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide effective solution
>Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including digging trenches and lifting heavy things up to 75lbs
>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in small teams to accomplish daily or weekly tasks
>Ability to read and speak english prefered
>Clean drivers license and DOT health card or ability to obtain one (company will help and reimburse)
