Installation and Truck Upfit Specialist/Truck Mechanic
Truck upfitting company located in Roseville, MN is looking for a motivated individual for Truck Mechanic / equipment installer
Job Description: Installation and Upfit Specialist is responsible for the upfitting of new trucks for professional markets.
Responsibilities:
Install 12V electrical components: light bars, strobes, inverters, etc. Make and route wire harnesses,
create junction boxes
Weld and install brackets
Install and troubleshoot hydraulic pumps
Install truck and van components for commercial applications – boxes, ladder racks, shelves
Uphold quality levels the company and customers require. Follow internal quality guidelines.
Follow installation procedures and established standards, read diagrams and instructions
Utilize various power tools as needed for builds: drill, impact wrench, air ratchet, grinders, etc
Work individually or part of a team
Follow safety procedures
As a truck mechanic you will typically work Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30.p.m.
Qualifications:
All candidates must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
5+ years of experience in truck service industry is required.
Proficiency in 12V electrical systems
Basic understanding of hydraulics
Experience in installation of truck and van professional equipment: inverters, boxes, shelves, toppers, ladder racks and other
Experience in metal forming
Welding
