This is an independent contract role for an RN looking for flexible part-time hours caring for a young woman in a fully handicap-accessible home in Inver Grove Heights. Must have previous home health care experience.
Independent contractor position providing health care for young woman: $50 per hour.
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN
Position Type: Part-time 20-24 hours per week (morning/daytime/evening/weekend hours available).

Saturday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Tuesday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Wednesday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Note: More hours/shifts can be available, hours can be flexible.
About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse with home health care experience to care for a delightful young adult woman with complex medical needs.
You will work directly for the family and be paid through the client's county waiver, with payroll managed by a home health care financial management services company. This is your opportunity to get paid what you're worth as an experienced home care worker!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with all activities of daily life: Bathing, changing, cathing, oral care, hair grooming, and dressing.
Administering medications and ensuring all health needs are met.
Accompanying to doctor’s appointments alongside parents and participating in recreational day trips, errands, and shopping expeditions.
Utilizing our handicap-accessible equipment, including our lift system.
Engaging in daily walks (weather permitting) up and down private road using handicap-accessible bike.
Assisting with specialized stretching activities (training will be provided).
Transferring a 60-pound young woman between wheelchair, bed, and changing table.
Daily skin checks to check for pressure sores or other wounds.

Who You Are:
Experienced: You have prior complex care experience caring for individuals with trach/vent needs, seizure disorders, and who are non-verbal and tube fed.
Active and motivated: This role requires more than just administering medication. We need someone ready for an active day, helping our young woman live her life to the fullest.
Compassionate and caring: You possess a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s life.
Physically capable: Able to manage the physical demands, from assisting with mobility to ensuring safety during daily activities.
