Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants (PCA) / Individual Home Support (IHS) staff. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to male individuals in need of home care services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide support during visits
Assist with mobility, transfers, and physical support
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and resident rights
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home care is preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries
Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
Reliable transportation to travel to client locations
Must be at least 18 years old
