Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and groups, addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. The therapist will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and utilize evidence-based interventions to support mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, including emotional, psychological, and social well-being.

-Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and preferences.

-Provide therapy using a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.

-Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

-Establish and maintain a trusting, supportive, and confidential relationship with clients.

-Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources when necessary to ensure holistic care.

-Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress or emergency situations.

-Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.

-Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health care and integrate them into clinical practice.

-Adhere to all relevant ethical, professional, and regulatory standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

-Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

-Valid and current licensure as a therapist (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, PsyD, etc.) in Minnesota.

-Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

-Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

-Experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
