Alto Pino, a new restaurant in Duluth, MN, is seeking passionate Prep and Line Cooks to join a talented team led by James Beard-nominated Chef Bryce Stevenson. Our menu blends the diverse culinary traditions of the Mediterranean with ingredients from the Lake Superior region and Midwest, offering a unique take on thoughtful, seasonal cuisine.

About Alto Pino: Opening in mid-to-late October, Alto Pino will bring together Mediterranean techniques from North Africa, Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, while emphasizing sustainability and quality through local ingredients. With a focus on dinner service, the restaurant will provide an elevated, welcoming dining experience with a commitment to delivering high standards in both service and cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace, adhering to kitchen safety protocols.

Work closely with Chef and the team to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes.

Contribute to the open kitchen environment and support team cohesion.

What We’re Looking For:

At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.

A strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate in a team setting.

Basic knife skills and proficiency in food prep.

A passion for learning, growth, and development in the culinary field.

Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced kitchen.

Flexibility to work full-time, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred (but not required):

Experience with Mediterranean or international cuisines.

Background in higher-end or upscale restaurant service.

Familiarity with advanced culinary techniques like butchering or fermentation.

Experience in menu development, ordering, or inventory management.
