We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our dynamic team in a bustling downtown Minneapolis restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a veteran manager with extensive experience in full-service bar and restaurant management.

Position Overview:

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. Your primary focus will be on front-of-house operations, but you should also possess a solid understanding of back-of-house processes to effectively supervise a skilled kitchen team.

Responsibilities Include:

- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

- Lead, train, and develop front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Collaborate with the back-of-house team to maintain high standards of food quality and service.

- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to optimize cost control and profitability.

- Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, making recommendations for improvements.

- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain high customer satisfaction.

- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role within a full-service bar and restaurant.

- Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations; familiarity with back-of-house processes is a plus.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for developing team members.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems.
