The Corporate Kitchen Assistant will assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily lunch food preparation and execution at the onsite campus restaurant. Will work synchronously with other kitchen staff to enable a daily positive lunch experience for Infinite Campus employees. Must be legally authorized to work within country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) now and/or in the future. Job Responsibilities (What you’ll do)

· Assist Manager and/or Sous Chef in weekly lunch menu planning

· Assist with collection of food supplies

· Daily food preparation, cooking, and execution

· Work food line; plate dishes in fast pace environment

· Work synchronously with other kitchen staff

· Daily cleaning of kitchen area

· Other related duties as assigned

Desired Background (Your skill-set)

· Completion of culinary arts program or equivalent and/or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience

· Knowledge of and experience in culinary arts

· Strong understanding of food safety standards

· Able to lift up to 25 lbs

Performance Expectations (Who you are)

· Able to work lunch service in corporate environment 6:30a – 2:30p

· Effective time and task management

· Creative and curious

· Perform job responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality, professionalism and efficiency.

· Ability to lead a team and manage multiple resources in a high-interrupt environment

· Availability to start in September

This position may perform job responsibilities directly for a customer contract, which may be subject to a more thorough criminal background check to include, but not limited to, fingerprints, outside the standard screening. If the position performs job responsibilities directly for said customer(s), employee is required to pass the specified criminal background check; meeting the requirements of the customer contract.
