In this position, you will work in our onsite State-of-the-Art Cafe preparing and serving breakfast and lunch to employees and guests. Specific, on-the-job training will be provided.

Job Description

Set up workstation with all needed ingredients to use in cooking.

Follow food health and safety regulations and company’s standard.

Log all daily food temperatures.

Perform food preparation tasks, such as making breakfast sandwiches, breakfast specialties, full production of high-quality entrée, making homemade soups, composed salads for salad bar and baking breads or desserts.

Provide excellent customer service and high-quality food to employees and guests.

Clean and sterilize all food preparation equipment, work areas, dishes and floors.

Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food and label food in coolers with the time and date.

Perform general cleaning duties in the kitchen and follow a master cleaning schedule.

Perform as a team, show attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Adhere to hygiene standards for safety for all.

Assisted in Catering request and Corporate planned events.

Monitoring stock and food items and reorder when needed.

Create weekly menus as a team and accommodating dietary request.

Developing and preparing creative, interesting, and innovative recipes.

Qualifications:

Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM; no nights or weekend required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation and service.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift.

Ability to regularly show up to work on time and be dependable.

Happy customer service attitude.

Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Basic computer skills. Emails communications, ordering, inventory, timesheets and food safety training.

Must have ServSafe or obtain it in 6 months.
