Travail Kitchen and Amusements is currently searching for a Service Chef or Chef de Partie to join our passionate and creative team in downtown Robbinsdale.
At Travail, our service model is different than most. We don't have servers- our cooks and chefs are the ones preparing dishes and serving guests tableside during service hours.
This position is full-time, working Tuesday - Saturday. In this role, you will be cooking, finishing, plating and serving guests tableside. If you are outgoing, enjoy hospitality and serving and engaging with guests, we want to hear from you!

Desired Skills and Experience
At least one year of experience as a line cook
Desire to learn and grow
Excellent communication skills
FOH experience not required, but a plus
What You’ll Be Doing
Cook tableside while ensuring that food standards are met and guests are entertained
Engage with guests in an inviting and friendly manner
Set up dining room for guest arrival
Assist with table maintenance
Write and follow a daily prep list
Assist team members with prep tasks as needed
Gather necessary items for station and service
Build kits for service
Ensure that service moves at the appropriate pace in accordance with service timeline
Follow instructions given by kitchen leadership team
Follow all health and safety guidelines
Support kitchen leadership team in ensuring prep kitchen is clean and ready for service
Clean the kitchen as a team at the end of the night, ensuring that all tasks are completed
Maintain walk-in standards, store inventory in designated areas, and assist entire team in doing the same
Set up station, ensuring mise en place is correct and organized
Keep station clean and organized, at all times
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in weekly staff training and any pertinent meetings
Create and maintain a positive and communicative relationship with coworkers and leaders
Adhere to hygiene, uniform and professionalism standards
Maintain an Open door policy with Travail Collective leadership and speak up if you need to say something
Represent and maintain culture standards of Travail Collective inside and outside of the restaurants within our company
