The pay range per hour is $19.62 - $35.29Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. Your influence will drive sales and grow brand love through packaging that’s guest-centric, on brand, competitive “at shelf” and category relevant. Here, you’ll leverage internal and external partnerships to support packaging engineers and print planners with structural packaging specifications, print development, and packaging project management to achieve market differentiation. As part of a global team spanning the U.S., China and India, you’ll work directly with domestic and international vendors and suppliers. Work under the direction of a Senior Engineer to support the Engineering and Print team deliverables.

Ensure documentation, specifications and dielines are complete & accurate, in the proper system and approved on time.

Execute technical testing as needed and report those results to the engineer.

Order, manage and review packaging samples and prototypes as requested.

Attending cross functional meetings as needed to inform project status for Engineers and Print Developers.

Evaluate and Approve First Production Run (FPR) samples based on specifications.

Review and approve art files for both print and engineering team

Job Requirements

Two- or four-year technical degree or equivalent experience

Prior experience with packaging or consumer goods manufacturing preferred

Understanding packaging materials and/or sustainability a plus

Strong interpersonal, organizational skills and a curious self-starter

Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment  

Ability to contribute, lead and communicate in a highly collaborative team environment  

Hybrid: Role requires you to reside in Minneapolis area and be in office as needed 1-3 times a week.This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
