Solutions Architect Last Updated Date: Jun 12, 2024 Location: Minneapolis, MN, US, 55402 Company: Doosan Bobcat NA Corp Job InformationThe Functional Solution Architect is responsible for governing the functional End-State solutions, roadmap, programs/projects, and day to day maintenance support.Role & Responsibility Support Functional Director in leading Business Solution Portfolio in each functional group Develop and maintain the Solution Portfolio Roadmap for assigned functional area Plan, drive, design, develop, document, measure, analyze and improve the process and solution globally and regionally Coordinate both Global (above the line) / Regional (Below the Line) processes with global counterparts Manage overall efficiency and global harmonization of the assigned functional Solution Portfolio Rationalize the Secure Solution Portfolio footprint. Recommend new innovative solutions, enhance existing solutions, and decommission obsolete solutions Prepare all needed decisions related to solution portfolio incl. lifecycle phase for Solution Portfolio Working group Set up Solution Council for global solutions Maintain relationship with global affiliates & BU’s for systems which are global in scope Facilitate governance processes and solution standards of assigned Solution Portfolio Establish collaborative relationship with key business stakeholders Overall accountable to secure that authorization rules for application access. Define Program and Project plans necessary to reach Solution Portfolio Roadmap goals, includingo Process and Integration scopeo Resource & competence requirementso Project Budget approvals Provide guidance and support to Project Team’s that are implementing within assigned Solution Portfolio Serve on Project implementation team (if necessary) Lead transitions from project stabilization to operational support team Enable collaborative relationship with key business stakeholders Approve and prioritize Change Requests for business processes of the assigned Solution Portfolio Serve as last line of Maintenance support for complex Problems reported within the assigned Solution Portfolio Identify resource & competence gaps and provide direction to Maintenance organization for closing them Lead process training sessions with the Solution Experts and Maintenance Support Ensure proper documentation, training, and testing for Change RequestsJob Requirement Bachelor’s degree in business administration 10 to 15 years of related experience Travel Standard < 50% SAP or Oracle ERP experience Business process management experience Management experience Project management Process understanding Process improvement vision Ability to analyze and design business processes Ability to develop product requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standardsAs a part of the Doosan Group, which employs more than 43,000 people in 38 countries worldwide, the company offers its customers products and solutions to help build stronger businesses and communities.
