Skilled and friendly helper for elderly adult living at home 10-15hrs

Looking for the right person who has more education than HS, non-smoker, male preferred (the elderly adult is a male) with a can-do attitude and friendly, respectful nature. My father is 92 and will be living with his adult children. He is mobile and has only slight vascular dementia. I need backup in the form of someone who can and will do anything I can do: be a companion, take him on errands or outings if needed, put together simple food like toast a bagel and get out the peanut butter, remind him to take his pills and watch him do so (you don't need to administer meds per se). His forgetfulness is around the steps needed to complete a task, like take a shower or change his clothingthese things need to be gently helped.
