About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Advanced Analytics Consultant Report to the Auto Pricing Manager.In this role, you will:
Be a key contributor in the development and execution of strategic recommendations to help the business optimize profitability while measuring and monitoring returns on new originations
Be responsible for developing materials that communicate these strategic recommendations to senior leaders throughout organization
Collaborate with corporate financial analytics and contribute to enterprise balance sheet optimization efforts
Coordinate with risk and compliance teams to ensure pricing fully accounts for risk and operates with the proper controls
Review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Perform complex financial and economic analysis and model development
Manage or participate on large cross group projects and mentor less experienced staff
Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications, International:
Experience in Risk Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting; or a BS/BA or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting demonstrated through work or military experience
Job Expectations:
Ability to execute in a fast-paced, demanding environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to develop and integrate statistical and analytical approaches to pricing activities to optimize performance and gain strategic insights
Strong skills using statistical/data science tools such as SAS, R, Python, etc.
Support development of visualizations and dashboards in Tableau
Proven ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels to make high-impact decisions and complete challenging assignments
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to use imperfect information to solve complex problems and make strategic recommendations
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
