We are proud to be the oldest academic children’s hospital in Minnesota and the longest-running top-ranked children’s hospital in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.The Pediatric Med/Surg IMC unit (Unit 6) provides care to pediatric cardiac, solid organ (heart) transplant, infectious disease, CF, pulmonary, general medical/surgical, ENT, trauma, and orthopedic patients and their families. We have 24 beds on the unit and patients range from infants to young adults. Performs advanced monitoring using current technology
Manages complex medication and infusion therapies
Cares for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit.
Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.
QualificationsRequired:
MN RN license
BLS for healthcare providers
Preferred:
BSN
One year of pediatric RN experience
