Manages Commercial Print sales, service and distribution of the organizations products and services within a specified region (North Central States) through assigned sales representatives and sales office activities. Ensure the maximum sales volume and profitability for the organizations products and services in assigned region.Responsibilities:Set, drive & manage all sales initiatives within the assigned regionDirectly manage and develop the CP Sellers in the regionAccountable for achieving and exceeding the territory's revenue, profit, and expense quotaProvide guidance on pricing strategy to ensure profitabilityPartner with plant presidents and collaborate on local market strategyCollaborate with RVPs on Key/Target Account StrategyUnderstand the local plants' financial needs, challenges, opportunities, etc., and drive actions to align with desired outcomesManage client escalations and partner with PPs and GVPs (as needed) to find resolveRecruiting talent and supporting the business strategy for the regionAchieve and exceed all Region revenue, profit and expense objectives by expanding key strategies and maintaining a high level of performance with current customers as well as identifying and developing new opportunities with a focus on the company's Total Print Management objective through the management of a team of sales representativesCarries out management responsibilities, including, but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures, as well as applicable lawsDevelops annual business plan in conjunction with Vice President-Sales, which details sales activities for the sales region and sales representatives to focus on meeting or exceeding sales quotaUses consultative selling approach, demonstrates extensive knowledge of each accounts needs and industry, market conductions, pricing and competitive activityMaintains accurate records of all forecasting, sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities within assigned territoriesSubmits all required reports to upper management and corporate in a timely mannerAttract new sales representatives through successful recruiting strategiesActively involved in the development of new sales representatives sales orientation and sales training programsParticipates and contributes to the professional development and increased knowledge of product and services to sales representativesDevelop and maintain multi-level relationships within accounts, inclusive of establishing high-level contacts, identify and influence decision makers.Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure the highest level of customer satisfactionCreates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses.Assists with the implementation of new products and services within existing and new clientsProactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with direct team members, as well as support departmentsMonitors and evaluates changes and developments within accounts, the marketplace, the competition and the industryPerforms other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
