Procurement Specialist

Description We are hiring a contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in the software industry. Our client is located in Minneapolis, MN, but this will be a 100% remote position so they are open to anyone in the United States (ideal hours are CST or PST). As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing procurement processes, ensuring procurement requests are fulfilled and maintaining compliance with procurement policies.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee procurement processes Work with various software including Microsoft Excel, About Time, SAS, Coupa, JIRA, and Oracle Procurement to carry out procurement duties Ensure procurement requests are fulfilled accurately and efficiently Maintain procurement policies and ensure compliance with these policies Use ERP Solutions to manage procurement functions and process Handle procurement documentation and invoices accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service when handling procurement inquiries Utilize your skills in Management Systems to manage and oversee procurement processesRequirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement role within the high-tech engineering industry Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ERP solutions Knowledge of management systems Proficient in Microsoft Excel and About Time software Understanding of compliance issues related to procurement Excellent customer service skills Ability to manage documentation and invoices effectively Experience in using SAS, Coupa, JIRA, and Oracle Procurement software In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, functions, and policies Ability to handle procurement requests effectively Proven expertise as a procurement specialistRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
