Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our team, managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in all accounting tasks. The role will involve handling payroll, bookkeeping, and other general accounting duties.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of payroll, adhering to all relevant regulations Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable efficiently Conduct bank reconciliations regularly and accurately Maintain and update financial records, contributing to transparent and reliable reporting Utilize QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping tasks Ensure all journal entries are recorded correctly and promptly Use Gusto for payroll management Liaise with vendors and staff members to address and resolve any financial discrepancies Proficient use of accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to carry out accounting functionsRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must. Familiarity with Computerized Accounting System is required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processing. Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR). Ability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll. Experience with Gusto payroll platform is beneficial. Must be able to perform Journal Entries accurately. Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary.
