The Financial Reporting Manager is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is a long-term contract position. Drive actions towards improving financial reporting and analysis as well as requisite system requirements
Provide ad hoc analytical support and perform special projects as needed
Contribute to the annual operating plan, the business planning process, the monthly forecast, and monthly reporting and analysis. Effectively provide and explain variance analysis
Prepare investment return and break-even analysis
Coordinate with internal business partners in the preparation, implementation, and compliance of management reporting & analysis requirements
Observe and inspect actuals vs. budget/forecast performance
Requirements - Experience with higher level functionality in Microsoft Excel
Extensive finance and accounting knowledge, including detailed understanding of financial auditing
Foundational knowledge in Footnote Disclosures
Deep understanding of technical accounting
Experience with Footnote Preparation
External Financial Reports experience
Annual Financial Reporting experience desired
7+ years of related experience
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative/analytical disciplines
Skilled with ERP systems
