We are builders at heart, working to ensure the built environment has a lasting positive impact. | Let's Redefine Possible We are seeking a Field Operations Administrator for our Solar Operating Group, responsible for the recruitment paperwork, onboarding, training, and records associated with craft team members. Provides overall training support to the geographic office and project teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Craft Onboarding Identify and coordinate attendance at job fairs Deliver field orientation to craft new hires Ensure that new hire paperwork is completed correctly and timely Accurately maintain applicant log Maintain record of Good Faith Efforts associated with hiring Assist in management of Craft Training Proactively project and schedule needed classes to maintain 100% complete training log Reserve venues, rooms, equipment, and catering Coordinate enrollment of team members and track any pre-work Prepare, copy, assemble, and distribute materials Set up and clean up event training rooms Maintain records of training events Manage set up and recordkeeping of Field employment Assist with the projection of needed team members Identify and pre-screen potential team members for Field Operations Manager (FOM) Assist new team members in navigating Mortenson and identify resources Maintain confidential management files for FOM Resolve payroll issues Order new IT accounts, and order iPads/computers for Superintendents and Foreman Assist FOM in Organizing Craft and Superintendent Events Assist with planning and manage logistics for all field, foreman, and superintendent meetings Assist with planning and manage logistics for all craft appreciation events Create presentations for use in programs Manage youth apprenticeship program Create and maintain relationships with area schools supporting the youth apprenticeship program Coordinate craft workers to provide training and support at schools Coordinate jobs site visits for school programs. Assist in management of operating group craft review process Create and maintain review documents Manage logistics associated with, and ensure reviews are completed timely and accurately Collate review results Assist in management of operating group manpower projections Work with project teams to ensure projections are submitted monthly Consolidate projections into one document QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of four years' experience in an administrative support role Minimum of two years' experience working in the construction industry or related industry Knowledge of general safety protocol in the construction industry Superior attention to detail and accuracy Excellent planning and organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Excellent project management, leadership and general business skills Problem solving skills and ability to balance multiple priorities Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Strong facilitation, speaking, and presentation skills Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to travel up to 5% BENEFITS Mortenson provides a comprehensive benefits program to team members and their families to support their health, build long-term financial security and provide the opportunity for work and life balance.
