Elder Law Paralegal

Description We are looking for a meticulous Paralegal to join a busy Elder Law Group in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role will primarily focus on supporting our elder law practice group, providing essential assistance to attorneys and clients alike. The successful candidate will be immersed in a range of responsibilities, including the preparation and filing of Medical Assistance applications, frequent client and county contact during the application phase, and assisting with Medical Assistance estate recovery accountings.Responsibilities: Prepare and file document-intensive Medical Assistance applications Maintain direct contact with clients and county representatives during the application phase Assist with Medical Assistance estate recovery accountings Utilize Microsoft Office to maintain accurate and organized records Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality legal service to clients Advocate for the elderly and people with disabilities, demonstrating a passion for their rights and well-being Contribute positively to the firm’s collaborative cultureRequirements Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
