Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled Documentation Coordinator for a client in the manufacturing sector. This position will be responsible for developing and updating processes and forms for manufacturing and quality assurance, and maintaining necessary files and databases for efficient and accurate record retrieval. The ideal candidate will have experience with ISO 9001 systems and will be responsible for supporting the client’s continuous improvement and regulatory compliance efforts.Key Responsibilities:

Create, update, and manage manufacturing and quality assurance documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and forms.

Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with ISO 9001 standards.

Collaborate with department heads and team members to gather information and refine documents for clarity and usability.

Maintain an organized and up-to-date master list for all documentation.

Implement and manage document control procedures to ensure quick and reliable retrieval of records.

Conduct regular audits to ensure document integrity and compliance.

Identify opportunities for improving documentation processes and efficiency.

Provide training to staff on proper documentation practices and usage of document management systems.

Assist with statistical software and maintain various quality assurance files, such as shelf-life reports, audits, procedures, work instructions, corrective action reports, and other quality-related documents.

Perform quality inspections as needed.

Create and update quality plans and other essential quality records.

Create and maintain certificates of compliance for product shipments.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a documentation role within a manufacturing environment.

Certification in document control or quality management a plus.

Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and requirements.

Proficient in document management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
