Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Director, Consortium to help lead our Consortium team in our Minneapolis office.  This is not a remote position and this person must be based in the Minneapolis area.  Hybrid schedules will be offered.In this role, you will develop and manage the strategic direction and tactical execution of the Consortium business plan.  You will be the person to oversee new business for Consortium with the Business Development Director and Client Acquisitions team.   As the leader of this team, you will direct broader participation in all ICG services for current clients. You’ll be responsible for the overall contribution margin of the brand.  You will direct the publisher onboarding team providing services for Consortium publishers. In addition, you will oversee and direct team interaction with Sales, Ingram Publisher Services (IPS) Operations, Lightning Source (LS) Inventory Solutions and ICG Finance as needed. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of distribution professionals at Consortium, fostering a collaborative and high performing environment.Ingram Content Group (“Ingram”) connects people with content in all forms. With an expansive global network of offices and facilities, Ingram’s services include digital and physical book distribution, print-on-demand, and digital learning.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree7 years of book distribution experience (sales or client management) or related publishing experience3 years of negotiation and contract review experience3 years’ experience with financial spreadsheets and profit/loss statements3 years’ Project Management experiencePreferred Skills:Managerial/Supervisory experienceAbility to travel up to 15% of the timeKey Responsibilities:Strategically develops Consortiums client-publishers' business - consults on individual titles, provides direction of publishing program and ICG activity relating to the publisher, advises and educates clients on trends in the publishing industry.Interacts with Consortium and IPS sales leadership on commercial outreach, and overall growth of both print and digital sales.Responsible for new client acquisitions, scouting new publishers, pitching them on our services, and negotiating and closing contract deals.Directs Consortium marketing team to update the Consortium website, Client Portal and enhance and develop marketing services on behalf of Consortium publishers.Responsible for overall P&L and contribution margin for the brand.Leads daily interface and interaction with the Consortium team including Client Relations, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Content Management and multiple internal Ingram partner service groups, which include Credit and Finance as it relates to client sales and payments, as well as the IPS Operations team regarding issues ranging from inventory management, publisher support and IT development.Partners with LS Inventory Solutions Senior Manager and Director of Operations regarding service offerings.Directs the Consortium operations and client relations leadership team for publisher onboarding and exits; works to ensure an on time, on budget successful go-live for publisher clients across ConsortiumDetermines the sales and expense budget for Consortium and participates in the annual budgeting process and periodic sales/expense reporting overall; re-forecasts throughout the year as needed.Directs publisher education in coordination with Consortium team including webinars, one-on-one sessions and topical education at sales conference.Hiring Salary Range: $125,125k - $159,110k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
