We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.Summary:The Apprenticeship Compliance Manager will play a critical role in supporting employees entering the apprenticeship program. This position is responsible for coordinating, instructing, and managing the RES apprenticeship program to ensure it meets the latest compliance standards. As the subject matter expert, the manager will be the primary contact for employees in the apprenticeship program, providing guidance, tracking and support throughout their training.Requirements :

Manages the on-boarding of new and/or current employees into the apprenticeship program.

Monitors hours of individuals within the program and provides instruction for next steps as employees progress through the program.

Monitors Subcontractor certified payroll submissions and apprentice percentage based on their contract.

Tracks and manages the training requirements for employees in the apprenticeship program.

Functions as the primary contact for management, project teams, subcontractors, and workforce agencies for IRA apprenticeship and certified payroll questions.

Ensures that projects remain in compliance with IRA standards regarding apprentice requirements.

Manages the Audits and reports on a per-project basis, which includes apprentice metrics, ratios, apprentice hours, subcontractor information, and more.

Coordinates with project team leaders to schedule classroom instruction, online assessments, and field evaluations.

Creates and manages project training plans in coordination with project leadership.

Ensures all training sessions are equipped with the required tools, books, and other resources.

Manages the training schedule for all employees within the apprenticeship program.

Creates reports and delivers updates to management on a regular basis.

Champions regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on company and project compliance.

Stays up to date on industry standards, regulations and compliance requirements.

Evolves and grows the apprenticeship program as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.

Engages in continuous improvement opportunities and evaluates/implements ways to better communication and company employee retainage.

Develops and implements improvement programs to better manage and organize the compliance documents of employees within the apprenticeship program

Ensures growth and development with RES and its core values

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Oral and written skills to include:

Clear and concise technical writing

Ability to communicate issues internally with reporting manager and team to present possible solutions.

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Experience in compliance programs preferred

Experience working with Public Works Administration or Prevailing Wage Projects

Experience with registered Apprenticeship programs

Demonstrated experience developing administrative policies and procedures

Effective communication skills across a diverse group

Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) with data analysis and reporting background in Excel

Proficiency of office practices, procedures, and equipment

Licensed, journey or technician-level knowledge and skills in the electrical or similar trade

Experience working with the Inflation Reduction Act

Classroom training facilitation experience preferred

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Construction management, business, engineering, or equivalent degree, or military/education/relevant work experience combination required.

3+ years of experience in Compliance Programs required.

Domestic travel of 16-30%.

A valid driver’s license is required.

Anticipated base salary range: $85,000 - $100,000/annually.The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
