Advanced Manufacturing Technician Opportunity Job DescriptionOur company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets advanced wound healing technologies for the medical device industry. We are currently seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Technician who will closely interface with Operations Managers, R&D Engineers, Automation Engineers, and Quality Engineers to manufacture products and support R&D and Operations. The role involves manufacturing advanced technology products, assembling test systems, performing performance tests, and assisting with manufacturing process development. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of general safety skills, mechanical aptitude related to general mechanical tools, knowledge of general testing techniques, and good documentation/writing skills.Responsibilities
Manufacture advanced technology products
Assemble test systems
Perform performance testing
Assist with manufacturing process development
Operate equipment related to manufacturing processes
Perform chemical reactions, including handling of chemicals
Verify test results
Perform necessary quality checks
Communicate and participate in a team-based environment
Essential Skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Experience in documentation
Chemical engineering knowledge
Manufacturing experience
Knowledge of applying chemicals to products
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience with quality management systems (QMS)
Experience in the medical device industry
