Aplica ya

The Doctor of Medical Science Program at Augsburg University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach Physician Assistant/Associate-centered doctoral program courses in the 2025-2026 academic year. Augsburg’s DMSc program is built on a whole-student model, fostering an environment where innovation, inclusivity, evidence-based practice, and collaboration drive our work. We are committed to developing future PA leaders who are prepared to lead and adapt in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. This search will establish a “pool” of instructors if such openings occur during the Fall, Summer and Spring semesters. Applicants may be selected from this pool on an as-needed basis throughout the year. Available courses vary by term. All classes are taught in an online asynchronous modality requiring instructors to be familiar and comfortable with providing high-quality instruction in that format. In addition to teaching the class and grading student work, instructors are expected to maintain a professional-level online learning platform course, provide mentorship to students, respond to student questions through email, hold regularly scheduled office hours, reach out to students with course progress information, attend faculty meetings, and communicate regularly with the DMSc Program Director. A course syllabus and online learning course sites with calendars, readings, learning materials, and an engagement section that includes sample activities and assessments are typically provided. Each course requires approximately 12-15 hours/week for 15-16 weeks. The successful candidate should be committed to student engagement and professional growth with a high level of intercultural competency and expertise in the area of course study.Compensation & Benefits
