Description Job Title: Accounts Receivable/Cash ReceiptsLocation: Minneapolis, MN (this role is hybrid, requiring some in-office in Minneapolis)Job Description:We are looking for an experienced individual to handle accounts receivable/cash receipts. This is a key position within the finance department.Responsibilities:

Track and manage all accounts receivable activities including sending out invoices, monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Review accounts for discrepancies and resolve customers’ billing issues.

Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data.

Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports.

Collaborate and communicate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.

Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.

Research and resolve payment discrepancies.

Process credit card payments and cash deposits.

Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system.

Stay up-to-date on new accounting procedures and software.

Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

Proven work experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role.

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is an advantage.
