Front Desk Customer Service Representative
Location: Burnsville, MN
Job Type: Full-time Contract-to-hire
Pay: $18- $20/hr. DOE
Hours: Monday- Thursday 8:30-4:30 PM and Friday 8:30 -2 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional individual to manage the front desk and be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is essential in providing outstanding customer service both in-person and through phone and email communication. The ideal candidate will be personable, efficient, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Answer incoming phone calls and route them appropriately
Respond to customer inquiries via email and ensure timely follow-up
Schedule appointments or direct customers to the correct service or department
Maintain a tidy and welcoming front desk and reception area
Handle basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and mail sorting
Support customers with questions, concerns, and general information about our services
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
Proficient with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email platforms)
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
