HR Director

Description We are looking for a proficient PART-TIME HR Director to join our team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for escalated issues primarily related to policy interpretation, legal matters, HR compliance, and employee performance. You will also be responsible for maintaining employee relations and coaching new managers.Responsibilities: Provide guidance on HR compliance and policy interpretation Handle escalated issues in relation to legal matters and HR compliance Facilitate the resolution of employee performance issues Maintain high-level employee relations to prevent turnover and burnout Offer advice and coaching to first-time managers on handling various situations Consult with managers on addressing employee issues and concerns Ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and best practices Assist in various HR-related tasks as required.Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related HR role Proficient in Human Capital Management (HCM) and Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) Extensive knowledge and experience in managing benefit functions Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Strong understanding and application of compliance regulations within the HR field Proven experience in managing employee relations and conducting employee relations investigations Familiarity with HR payroll systems and HR portal management Ability to develop, implement, and enforce HR policies effectively Demonstrated knowledge in HR compliance and labor laws Proven experience in managing and improving employee performance Experience in labor and employee relations management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
