Kent’s Auto Body of Willmar, MN is seeking an experienced collision repair technician. Kent’s Auto Body is a repair center that provides a professional work environment which allows for personal and financial success.
Qualifications
Highschool Diploma or GED
2-year degree in Auto Body Repair and minimum of 2 years of experience
I- CAR and or ASE Certifications are beneficial but not required
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is a must
Multi-tasking and time management skills are a must
Self- motivating with a strong work ethic
The ability to work independently and well with others
Auto Mechanics experience a plus but not required
Job duties required but not limited to
Technicians will be required to do a meticulous tear-down for accurate estimates, inspect replacement parts and replace them with new or repair existing parts without damaging the surrounding area
Review repair order and understand repairs that are needed
Make repairs to body and frame according to the manufacture specs and procedures, verify color matching prior to assembly and review final repair order to ensure all repairs have been made
Keep a clean and safe work area
Save and tag all return/core for returns parts for the Shop
Operate all equipment in Body Shop in a safe and productive manner
Use discretion in using company materials and supplies
Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time
