Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in a location in Michigan. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, managing their inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. You will also be tasked with maintaining clear communication with various teams including sales, operations, and accounting to deliver superior service. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Facilitate direct communication with customers, sales teams, operations teams, accounting teams, and corporate teams to meet and exceed customer expectations. Maintain and manage customer accounts, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner. Process return goods authorizations, credit memos, and debit memos as required. Assist and coordinate with outside sales representatives on all aspects of customer accounts, including notifications of production delays and special concerns. Receive and process customer orders both verbally and through email. Enter and manage orders accurately into JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system. Initiate and manage claim worksheets, resolving customer issues promptly. Actively participate in continuous improvement training and take on a leadership role in CI Projects. Travel as necessary to meet customers, meet salespeople, and visit other facilities. Utilize CRM and other accounting software systems to manage customer records and transactions. Answer more in-depth product knowledge questions and send out samples and literature upon customer request. Assist customers with orders by answering basic product knowledge or installation questions. Handle customer complaints, problems, or questions received by fax, phone, or email, finding the best solution to satisfy customers.
