If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3pm – 11pm, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11pm – 7am, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

M Health Fairview is looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Fairview St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. We are known for our award-winning heart, stroke and cancer care. Imaging Technologists deliver services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. St. John's offers 24/7 Imaging services to Inpatient Units and Emergency patients We have outpatient access seven days a week.The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.Schedule : This is a 1.0FTE (80 hours worked per two weeks) position. The shift length will be 8 hours. Typical work schedule will include a 8:00AM-4:30PM and 9:00AM-5:30PM shifts every other week rotation plus, rotating weekends.Benefits : This position is eligible for ADIT benefits. Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.

Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures independently.

Operates fixed and portable radiographic equipment.

Provides care appropriate to patients of all age groups, through appropriate communication with co-workers, patients, and other personnel.

Interprets appropriate data and information needed to identify each patients' needs.

Provides appropriate safety measures to assure radiation protection according to department and state guidelines.

Utilizes appropriate patient identification, obtaining pertinent clinical information, marking films, and appropriate technical techniques for imaging quality.

Evaluates completed radiographs regarding technique and positioning - make corrections when appropriate to maintain set standard per policy and procedure.

QualificationsRequired:Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT)Basic Life Support (BLS) - from American Red Cross or American Heart Association and current before date of hireKnowledge to operate fixed and portable radiographic equipmentEEO StatementEEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any lawfully protected status
