Description:
Leading utilities contractor seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for their local Minnesota team.
This position will be year-round, and have consistent overtime in the summer months.
Report to shop in Maple Lake, and roll out shotgun with the crew
Will be operating backhoe, skid steer, mini-excavator along with labor work when needed
Day to Day Responsibilities
Operation rubber tire backhoe, mini-excavator, or skid steer
Preventative maintenance of equipment
Hand dig around existing utilities when necessary
Operator tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws
Carry and load materials to be used on the job
Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
Assist in hauling equipment to and from job site
Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
1 + years of heavy equipment operating experience
Hand and power tool experience
Ability to submit to MVR check, and obtain DOT card
Comfortable operating company vehicle
Must be able to work in year round weather conditions
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
