Description Are you a Sr. Financial Analyst who is interested in project work and looking for the next project for you to lend your expertise? If so, Robert Half may have the perfect opportunity for you. We are currently partnering with manufacturing industry client in the Maple Grove, Minnesota area that is looking for a contractor to assist with an overhaul of their financial reporting functions do to a new system implementation. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing legacy reports and ensuring they are tying-out in the new system. You will also assist with the creation of various business reports such as sales and margin reports, KPI and other ad hoc reports as requested by leadership. If interested, please call our office today - (952) 473-0373. Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis. Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation. Exploring investment opportunities. Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts. Analyzing labor utilization and assessing its impact on profitability. Providing insights on the financial health of the company. Liaising with management on the financial planning and budgeting processes. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Assisting in the preparation and management of the company's budget. Conducting and managing timely billing of time and materials. Analyzing current and past financial data and performance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Proven experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst. Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and this latest industry trends. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Office, and financial software applications. Hands-on experience with statistical analysis, financial software, and time and materials billing. Strong presentation, reporting and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical thinking and ability to make data-driven business decisions. Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar is a plus.
