Join the talented, engaged and inclusive workforce dedicated to creating a better Minnesota.This position exists to provide semi-independent clerical, administrative and managerial support to the University Storeroom. The personnel in this position will perform specialized duties and research in the coordination of the consumable inventory system, the computerized Purchasing Card Program and the Minnesota State System Fixed Asset Program.Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of customer service practices and principles sufficient to identify each customer’s needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.

Skill in using computerized inventory control systems, to track the status of requisitions, and orders to vendors.

Knowledge of math sufficient to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.

Skill in accounting sufficient to reconcile differences between invoices, receipts and purchase orders, and assess needs based on data and events affecting the account

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.

Knowledge of MnSCU systems including purchasing card program, consumable inventory, and asset tag inventory.

Physical Requirements

Needs to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
