Description:Project overview:Client has 500 +- Country operations sites they are looking to migrate off of their legacy phone system to Microsoft TEAMS (On Prem/Azure VDI hosted). CHS is asking us to assemble a team of 2 resources who can help aid with this project. These engineers would be responsible for
Reviewing telecommunication data to identify telephone invoices
Use number to enable future designs
Facilitate conversations with customer/vendors in support of site migrations
Leverage Sharepoint for tracking transfer data
Working with local exchange carriers & LEC’s
Data gathering and analysis
Prepare LOA’s, etc
Provide knowledge and expertise on MSFT TEAMS Platform (on prem or Azure VDI)
Job Description: Summary:CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an Information Technology Systems Engineer, Experienced (Contractor) for the Enterprise Voice team to conduct data gathering required to rapidly deploy repeatable solutions at our remote locations. In this position you will be working with telecommunications data, talking to customers and vendors to identify telephone invoices, legacy use of the numbers and organize to enable future designs. The result is to facilitate faster deployment of enterprise voice at our remote locations.Responsibilities Facilitate conversations with business users and local exchange carriers (LECs) to gather information to complete voice inventories from customer services records (CSR). Build a tracking system to store customer service record information that is gathered. Organize the LEC and customer data to determine current application of each phone line to prepare the data for quicker implementation by the CHS Voice Team.o Gather existing telephone invoices for each location.o Determine which phone numbers are functional.o Determine the purpose of each phone line.o Determine the location of each phone line. Prepare Letter of Authorization (LOA) data for number port orders. Build a system to consolidate voice charges and business unit cost savings or expense as they roll into the CHS Enterprise Voice program.Minimum Qualifications: (required)· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education)· 2+ years of IT Voice experience to include one or more of the following disciplines:o Working with LECs to gather customer service records and analyze informationo Organizing voice line information in a sustainable mannero Preparing LOA / line porting orders Managing multiple priorities and working across multiple teams Underlying theories, principles, designs, standards, and industry best practicesAdditional Qualifications: (desired) Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, LECs and SharePoint. Written and verbal communication skills.
