Fairview Range is hiring a Laboratory Care Technician (Phlebotomist) for Lab Department at our Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, MN .As a phlebotomist you will perform laboratory specimen collection and waived testing (Point of Care) across the Mesaba Clinics in Hibbing, Nashwauk, and Mt. Iron. Primary location will be in Hibbing. The Phlebotomist has an important role in maintaining quality, proficiency, and professionalism with the Laboratory's service for patients and other customers.Schedule: This position will work 32 to 59 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the Day shift. Collecting and processing adequate and accurate blood or urine specimens from adults, children, and infants according to established procedures.
Taking an active role in facilitating the team approach to function between the lab and the clients.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including adequate supplies.

Required Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a Phlebotomist preferred.
Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory desired.
Completion of a Phlebotomy Course desired.
