Description We are looking for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Tech Engineering industry located in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This role will involve aiding in the transition to a new SAP system, performing month-end close processes, and generating reports. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist in the transition from an old system to SAP in December. Leverage your SAP experience to help with integration and report generation. Perform month-end close processes. Collaborate with the Cost Accounting Manager and Revenue Manager. Utilize your strong analytical background in variance reporting and margin reporting. Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks. Handle bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger. Prepare and post journal entries. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with NetSuite and Oracle will be beneficial for this role.Requirements Must possess excellent skills in Account Reconciliation Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Strong understanding of General Ledger management Able to prepare and manage Journal Entries Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close processes Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite software Familiarity with Oracle software SAP software proficiency is a requirement Previous experience in a Hi Tech Engineering industry is preferred A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required CPA certification is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Must be analytical and detail-oriented Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
