Honeywell’s Environment and Infrastructure team is looking for a highly qualified Mechanical Design Engineer II, for their Golden Valley, MN location.Are you ready to help us make the future?KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop & design cryogenic systems that consider all the pertinent factors (e.g., Thermal, Vacuum/Pressure, etc.)Integrate mechanical designs with electrical, cryogenic, vacuum, and magnetic systemsInform approaches for planning, executing, and validating analyses to enable design maturation & realizationCollaborate with scientists & engineers in a cross functional team environment by documenting & communicating results across a broad array of disciplines, including program managementThe annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is ($80,800.00 - $101,000.00). For more information visit: Benefits at HoneywellThis role is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in addition to base pay.The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.This role will remain open until an offer is accepted.US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTSMust be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.YOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics3 years’ experience utilizing CAD tools such as SolidWorksUS citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearanceWE VALUEAdvanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldExperience with cryogenics, cryogenic systems, vacuum chambers, and heat exchangersExperience working with systems & processes that enable quality, from concept up through Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP)Experience with design/configuration management tools such as SolidWorks and PDM or equivalentExperience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) methods & toolsExperience releasing prints using a formal drawing release process reviewed by a cross-functional team.Experience working with a material review board.Understand and be able to apply basic GD&T to drawings.Experience working in a production environment.ABOUT HONEYWELLHoneywell International Inc.
