Responsibilities Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team at Willows Bend senior assisted living and memory care in Fridley, MN! This position would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living memory care patient's physical and emotional well-being. This direct care schedule includes;

On Call/Casual

Day, Evening and Overnight (NOC) shifts available

Must work a minimum of 3 shifts a month; 2 shifts on the weekend & 1 holiday a year

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.

Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.

May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.

Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff

Assists with onboarding of new staff

Required Qualifications:

CNA certificate required if under 18

Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting

Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population

Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines

Preferred Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course

One to three years of previous experience
