Job Description:The Senior Workday Solutions Architect holds a pivotal role in the HRIS team, taking charge of the strategic design, development, and optimization of Workday solutions and related HR applications. Reporting directly to the HRIS Director, this position requires a seasoned professional capable of influencing at high organizational levels and providing expert guidance to support the company's HR technology landscape.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate closely with functional leads and key business partners to drive project work, ensuring seamless issue resolution and the successful implementation of HRIS initiatives.
Take the lead in coordinating and managing project teams, involving management, users, IT staff, and external vendors, demonstrating autonomy and advanced problem-solving skills.
Function as a key business resource for HR technology, influencing and interacting at high levels within the organization.
Review and evaluate requests to ensure alignment with the strategic vision of the HRIS team and the overall company objectives.
Research, analyze, design, and implement advanced system configurations and processes to meet evolving business requirements.
Translate functional requirements into technical changes within the Workday environment, showcasing a deep understanding of Workday HCM.
Define system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives, providing accurate estimates of work effort.
Coordinate project teams efficiently to test, communicate, and implement changes, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Execute quality control of system environments and design implementations, ensuring client satisfaction.
Provide direction to analyst staff, fostering problem-solving skills and actively contributing to the development and implementation of systems.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
4-year college degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years of related experience working in/ supporting a core HCM system
4-5years Workday HCM experience required
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in systems and project management (configuration, integrations, security)

Exceptional system skills and a strong technical aptitude.
Proven ability to facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
Advanced problem-solving skills with proactive issue resolution and a high level of initiative.
Demonstrated ability to deliver timely and quality work while effectively prioritizing tasks.
Strong reporting skills using tools such as Excel or other reporting systems.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence others positively.
