HR Generalist

Description We are providing a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, United States. The HR Generalist will be part of our team, focusing on maintaining accurate employee records, processing biweekly payroll, assisting in recruitment efforts, and managing employee benefits. This position also involves ensuring legal compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.Responsibilities: Efficiently process biweekly payroll and ensure accuracy. Assist in the recruitment process, including updating job descriptions and candidate follow-ups. Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Maintain and audit employee files, payroll records, and track changes in benefits. Administer employee benefits enrollment and oversee ongoing benefit administration. Conduct pre-employment background checks, reporting, and verifications. Verify the accuracy of monthly invoicing from benefit providers. Provide administrative support for HR Director, including calendar management. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. Coordinate company meetings and events. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in a HR Generalist role Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a must Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is beneficial Must have experience with Ceridian Knowledge of Dayforce is highly desirable Capability to handle Benefit Functions effectively Strong communication skills are necessary An understanding of Compliance matters in HR context Demonstrable experience in handling Employee Relations Familiarity with FMLA procedures and protocols Experience in managing bi-Monthly Payroll Proven track record in managing Recruiting Activities Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
