Credit and Collections Analyst

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Credit and Collections Analyst. As a part of our team, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, ensuring the accuracy of records, and addressing customer inquiries. This role will also involve the processing of customer credit applications and taking necessary actions on customer accounts.Responsibilities: Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications Monitor customer accounts to identify any overdue payments Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy Report on collection activity for transparency and record-keeping Utilize collection techniques to manage overdue accounts Provide high-quality customer service in all interactions Work towards target dates for collection processes Use office software tools for daily tasks and record management Leverage previous business-to-business collection experience for efficient account management Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to credit and collectionRequirements Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally manage and resolve customer issues Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed reports Thorough understanding and experience of collection processes Solid knowledge of credit analysis and related regulations Proven ability in managing overdue payments and reducing company debt Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical skills and attention to detail High level of integrity and professionalism Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred Relevant work experience in credit and collections, finance, or a related field Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong negotiation skills to deal with customers and clients Willingness to stay updated on new techniques and trends in the field.
