Description We are in search of a skilled Photographer to join our retail industry team located in Eagan, Minnesota. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and involves working in a dynamic environment where creativity and technical skills come together. The Photographer will be responsible for utilizing their artistic vision and digital photography skills to produce high-quality images, along with managing photo retouching and editing.Responsibilities: Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign to create visually appealing images. Lead photo shoots and ensure the technical aspects such as lighting, composition, and editing are up to standard. Apply digital photography and photo editing skills to capture, edit, and enhance images. Collaborate closely with the Art Direction team to understand project requirements, conceptualize visuals, and deliver creative solutions. Conduct photo retouching tasks to ensure the highest quality of images. Maintain an organized digital archive of all photography work for future reference. Continually update skills and knowledge in the field of photography, ensuring familiarity with the latest trends and techniques. Apply studio photography techniques to create images that meet project requirements. Manage all technical aspects of the photography output ensuring clarity, quality, and precision in all work. Requirements Proficiency in digital photography and studio photography is crucial. Experience with photo editing and photo retouching is required. Ability to conduct photo shoots in a variety of settings. Familiarity with art direction and its application in photography. Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of photography skills. Excellent eye for detail and creative approach to photography. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the retail industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients. Knowledge of current trends in retail photography and the ability to implement them in work. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Proficient in using modern photography equipment and software. Willingness to keep updated with advancements in the field of photography. Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
