Support and drive integration of the global business units for
Design, develop, and specify packaging components based on product characteristics, cost limitations, and in accordance with the regulatory and customer requirements.
Package design and material selection will take into consideration such variables as moisture, chemical compatibility, temperature degradation and distribution performance.
Support development projects along with inline maintenance, quality resolution and cost savings projects
Specify and conduct tests on a wide variety of containers used for the protection, display, and handling of chemical products.
Communicate cross-functionally within RD&E in addition to corporate functions such as Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service.
Coordinate projects as assigned, including collaboration with vendors, plants & copackers
Collaborate cross-regionally with stakeholders in Latin America, Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical degree.
2-5 years related experience in Packaging Engineering
Classroom experience in packaging engineering

Prior experience in a technical role.
Ensure compliance to internal QMS processes regarding packaging components and assembly specifications.
Good communication & collaboration skills, strong analytical skills and ability to work in team environment.
Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Abilities in the Spanish Language
2+ year experience with package design, package specifications and package quality systems
Working knowledge of packaging materials and packaging component production; blow molding, injection molding, corrugated, plastic films
Possess strong working knowledge of UN/DOT, standards and requirements.
Previous experience in a Packaging Engineering role
Have experience in Design for Manufacturing
Experience with Industrial packaging: UN Specified Combination Packaging 1gallon or otherwise, 20L - 1000L Sizes
Strong leadership qualities encompassing project management and communications skills, excellent analytical skills, and ability to work in team environment
