In this role, the person will be responsible for:
Running lathe operations and programming.
Reading blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and to plan operational sequences.
Safely setting up and operating CNC or manual machines according to company standards.
Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions and adjusts the machine as necessary to provide acceptable quality.
Checks dimensions using measuring devices to ensure the product meets specifications.
Loading and unloading parts onto machines.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years of machine technology training or equivalent work experience.
Blueprint reading skills.
Familiar with measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
