WI Process Serves legal documents through Wisconsin. We are seeking reliable contract Process Servers in various counties throughout the state. We're in need of a part-time Process Server especially to assist with coverage serving Wisconsin legal documents in and around Duluth, MN, Douglas County, WI and the areas surrounding.
Role Description
This is a part-time contract role for a 1099 Process Server at WI Process. As a Process Server, you will be responsible for serving legal documents to individuals, businesses or government agencies. You will be expected to locate the individual or business to be served with the information provided, deliver the documents, document the service and complete a proof of service form using our platform. Training will be provided to the right candidates.
Qualifications
18 years of age or older
Resident of the State of Wisconsin
No conflict of interest (e.g. party to the case being served)
Experience as a Process Server preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (critical)
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Attention to detail and professional demeanor
Access to a reliable vehicle, smartphone, valid driver's license, and insurance
Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding process preferred
Successful completion of a background check
Contract rates per job range from $15-$60 depending on the county, type of documents and speed of service required.
Generally, our Process Servers are required to make 4 attempts on various days and times including early mornings, weekends and evenings and can set your own schedule to complete the job within the deadline provided.
